Please join Nick Rowley for a spring farm and garden series focused on vegetable production, with topics relevant to everyone from home gardeners to farmers. The series includes four sessions featuring a mix of classroom-style lectures and group discussion. Refreshments will be provided. You may register for one session or all four, and attendance is available either in person or virtually.
This session will cover the basics of building a compost pile and how compost can be used as a valuable soil amendment for vegetable production.
Registration is required, and each session is limited to 20 participants.
In the event of inclement weather, sessions may be moved to a completely virtual format. Questions and accommodation needs can be directed to Nick Rowley, 207-778-4650 Nicholas.rowley@maine.edu, and Julie Lajoie, 207-474-9622 julie.lajoie@maine.edu.
