Corn Silage Meeting/ Pesticide Recertification Credit

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host an outdoor meeting for corn silage growers to look at and learn about corn silage varieties that were planted the Maine Farm Days site in Clinton. This is an opportunity to see new varieties as you plan next year’s seed order. Corn seed dealers will be on hand to discuss what was planted.

Additionally, there will be a discussion about herbicide choices, weed control and interseeding cover crops. Attendees will be able to earn one pesticide recertification credit for attending.

This meeting will be held outside, to allow for social distancing and be limited to 50 people. Pre-Registration is required, and sign-in sheets will be used for contact tracing.  Attendees will be required to answer screening questions upon arrival and also be required to use facial coverings.
