Parsonsfield Extension Homemakers Group
Parsonsfield Extension Homemakers Group is one of four local community groups that comprise York County Extension Homemakers. We have 11 members and meet on the second Wednesday in the months of April, May, June*, September, October, November, and December. We meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Mary Ann Manor in Limerick.
* In June, we do a mystery ride and lunch out. Watch schedule for information.
The Parsonsfield group started many years ago when we were part of The Farm Bureau. We are an older group but we keep young by being involved in our communities which is our focus. We are willing and able to help when asked. We are actively seeking new members and welcome anyone to one of our meetings. Contact Cathy King for more information at mainenina@psouth.net
Some projects we have recently been involved in, or are planning to be involved in, are:
- Fall Craft and Potluck Luncheon
- Holiday Gifts from the Kitchen
- Thanksgiving Craft
- Christmas Luncheon and Gift Exchange
- Welcome Back from Our Winter Break
- Making Handiwork Items to Display in the Ossipee Valley and Acton Fairs.
Educational programs planned include:
