Youth Community Action
In Maine we encourage 4-H members to become involved as leaders in their communities and take an active role in helping to make our communities a better place to live for everyone.
The Maine 4-H Youth Community Action project involves youth partnering with adults to make a difference in their communities. Youth identify an issue in their community and work together to make a difference.
Contact your local UMaine Extension county office to learn more about the opportunities available in your area. Opportunities include the Maine 4-H Agricultural Leadership Ambassador Program for youth age 14-18 years.
What’s happening nationally: National 4-H Youth Citizenship.
