PPP Application Deadline is March 31, 2021
Paycheck Protection Program Overview Now Online
Reminder that the application deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is March 31.
The UMass Extension Risk Management Education Program conducted a Zoom Meeting on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. The meeting was intended for agricultural producers who did not participate in the PPP during last year’s initial signup period. PPP provides loans to help businesses (including agricultural operations) keep their workforce employed during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. PPP is offered by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) with applications processed by approved local lenders. A key component of the PPP is that the entire loan (or a portion of the loan) may be forgiven provided certain criteria are met!
