This garden project is in its fifth year and is used to grow healthy food that can be incorporated into a cancer treatment and prevention diet. The garden is also used to develop a supportive relationship with cancer survivors and family and friends through a collaborative activity. There are over 20 raised bed gardens, that need to be planned, planted and monitored throughout each growing season, as well as a plan for keeping and storage of vegetables after growing.
