This garden project is a collaboration with the Bath Garden Club, and is designed to beautify the entrance to the school, and give students an understanding of planting seeds and proper care of plants. MGVs will be asked to read a story in the classroom setting to review some aspect of gardening. Students will pot marigolds to take home and care for them. This will happen in late Spring in coordination with the first-grade teachers, it will be one or two sessions of two hours each to accommodate all the classes. Seeds, soil and tools for students to use are provided, but MGVs should plan on bringing their own tools.
