The Herban Works team would like guidance maintaining our herbs and calendula. The team has some experience gardening but would like to learn even more about utilizing the space we have to produce healthy and productive plants. We are particularly interested in advice about pruning and drying herbs, savings seeds, and interpreting previous soil tests/maintaining healthy soil for the future. Weekly tasks include harvesting herbs and calendula, weeding, watering the gardens, and drying herbs and calendula to be used for product making.
The Center has two parking lot islands gardens, a three-tiered terraced garden, and two raised beds. There are also 12 raised beds at Whiting Farm in Auburn.
