Description:

– typically yellow-green

-broad leaf bases

-stem leaf blade 2.6–5 mm in width

-dense tussocks

– may be confused with C. lucorum, also found in wild blueberry fields, or C. pensylvanica; see left sidebar on Go Botany webpage
