Description:
-erect branchy shrub
-grows to a height of 4-5 feet tall
-leaves are
- compound
- dark green
-stems are covered in thorns
-flowers have a diameter of 2-3 inches
- white – purple
- produce red hips
– some states consider this species as noxious or invasive
-withstands salt spray
