National Shooting Sports Instructor Trainer (Level II)
June 6-10, 2016
This 4-day training is for all Level I Instructors looking to become Instructor Trainers. This then allows you to join the growing state team of Instructor Trainers and have the opportunity to train new Level I instructors.
You must be a Level I Instructor in the discipline that you are interested in training leaders in. We will offer Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, Muzzleloader, Hunting and Wildlife, and Coordinator Training (you will be certified in one discipline).
Program includes meals and lodging (bedding is not included). A packing list will be furnished upon confirmation.
Certification then allows you to teach adults in that discipline, and certify them as new Level I instructors. There is a growing demand for instructors statewide.
Cost: The registration fee is $300.00
When: June 6-10, 2016. Registration is from 1:00 to 5:30 PM on June 6. We will have dinner Monday at 6:00 PM, training begins Monday at 7:00 PM and concludes Thursday at 7:00 PM. Participants have the option of spending the night and departing after breakfast Friday.
Lodging: Lodging will be either in our log bunkhouse dorms or our Lakeside Lodge.
Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is available from the Portland Jetport to Bryant Pond for $50.00 (per person, round trip). Call 207.665.2068 to schedule shuttle times.
