Gold Star Garden

In 2018, the first Gold Star Families Memorial in the state of Maine was installed. The Harpswell Garden Club, led by a Master Gardener Volunteer designed and installed a garden to accompany the memorial. The Gold Star Families Memorial Marker is a simple gold-lettered sign on a seven-foot-high pole, surrounded by a bed of flowers and is a gift from the Harpswell Garden Club, which raised $2,300 for the project.
