Youth ages 12 to 18 are invited to learn the basics of clicker training in this free, four-session virtual 4-H program offered by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
Participants will explore how dogs learn, practice observing their dogs’ behavior, and discover how clickers and positive reinforcement can make training fun and engaging. The series will also cover how to set up an effective training environment, build successful training sessions, and create games to practice with their dogs.
No previous dog-training experience is required. Dogs must be safe to handle and participate.
