Expanding Your Horizons

The EYH conference for the 2020-2021 academic year was held on January 19th, January 21st, February 3rd and February 5th. 

Workshop presenters at EYH included UMaine faculty, staff and students as well as presenters from Husson University and Maine Maritime Academy. A full listing of presenters is attached.

In addition to STEM workshops, UMaine, UMaine Extension and Husson University faculty, staff and students participated in live panel discussions to talk about gender equity in STEM. Panelists answered questions about their pathway to their current area of study or research and barriers they had to overcome as a female in STEM. Panelists engaged with participants by fielding questions from the audience.
