Application for Certification
Thank you for your interest in applying to have your space certified as Pollinator-Friendly! If you have questions, need support completing the application or would like to request a printed application, please reach out to extension.pollinators@maine.edu or call 207.581.3188. Applications are currently reviewed every two months.
When submitting applications to the mailing address, please make checks payable to University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
Mail to: University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Pollinator Certification Program, 45 Kennebunk Road, Alfred, ME 04002.
You may also pay the application fee online using the link below. The application fee is $20.00.
Request a Sign
Once your garden is approved for certification, please consider continuing your support of pollinators and pollinator-friendly education by ordering a sign for your garden. Signs are available from both UMaine Extension and UNH Extension.
You will receive a letter in your certification packet giving you the website address to order signs to display in your certified garden.
