The Pollinator-Friendly Garden Certification is open to all Maine and New Hampshire residents.

Step 1: Learn about pollinator-friendly gardening.

Step 2: Start gardening.

Create a new pollinator-friendly garden or add essential elements of pollinator habitat to an existing garden.

Step 3: Document your garden.

Create a map, see the application for details.

Step 3: Apply for certification.

Applications are reviewed every two months.

Pay $25 application fee online or mail a check payable to University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

Mail to: University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Pollinator Certification Program, 45 Kennebunk Road, Alfred, ME 04002.

Step 4: Receive your certificate.

After certification, you’ll receive instructions on how to purchase an optional sign.
