NAISMA’s Terrestrial Invasive Plant Management Certificate Course is a fully online, self-paced training designed for land managers, restoration professionals, conservationists, and anyone involved in vegetation management. This course provides practical, science-based guidance for identifying, monitoring, and controlling terrestrial invasive plants across North America.
Through 20 hours of interactive content, you’ll explore the full management process—from prevention and early detection to treatment methods and long-term restoration. The course also covers key topics such as plant ecology, integrated pest management, herbicide use, mapping tools, and case studies from the field.
Participants receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course. Registration is $397 for NAISMA members and $497 for non-members.
