University of Maine Cooperative Extension in collaboration with the Oaklands farm and the University of Vermont Extension will offer a dairy sheep mobile parlor and milk quality workshop. Attendees will learn about and see a dairy sheep mobile milking system in action. In addition, there will be a discussion on milk quality and parlor audits. The program is designed for dairy farmers and agricultural service providers interested in learning about mobile parlors and milk quality in small ruminants.
The host farm was a recipient of a grant funded by the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center.
