Where can I purchase piglets in Maine?

I am trying to find a source for piglets, preferably in southern Maine, for this spring. Where can I purchase them?

As an educational institution we are not allowed to recommend specific vendors or service providers. My first suggestion is to ask your previous farmer, if they have any recommendations. There is a Maine Pork Producers Association that maintains a Facebook page. These are usually producers who attend training sessions to learn more about how to care for their pigs. A couple other places include the Maine Farm and Seafood Products Directory and the Real Maine. You will need to search for “pig” or “piglet.”
