2023 Bangor State Fair:
4-H is Back at the Bangor State Fair!
August 3 – August 6

A special thanks to Penobscot County Livestock 4-H Leaders’, Corinna and Jessie Caron and family for hosting the Penobscot Livestock 4-H Showdown and Sale for the last three years at their family farm; so youth could continue to showcase their learning, even during the pandemic.

Market Lamb 05 Reserve Penobscot Lily B.Market Lamb 01 Grand Champion Penobscot Brody M.Welcome back Beef, Dairy, Goat, Sheep, Old McDonald’s Farm, and the 4-H Exhibit Hall! 4-H’ers participate in fairs to show what they’ve learned by displaying a wide variety of skills in a vast number of projects including topics from animal husbandry to science to textiles. Our 4-H youth have truly dedicated themselves to their projects and to ensuring the public is educated about agriculture and livestock.
