2026 Bangor State Fair – July 30 – August 8

Fair grounds open July 30- August 8. 4-H animal shows will occur during weekend one and weekend two.
Weekend I: July 30 – August 2 – Sheep, Market Lamb, Market Steer, Dairy, and Beef
Weekend II: August 6 – August 8 –Working Steer and Dairy Goat.

4-H’ers participate in fairs to show what they’ve learned by displaying a wide variety of skills in a vast number of projects including topics from animal husbandry to science to textiles. Our 4-H youth have truly dedicated themselves to their projects and to ensuring the public is educated about agriculture and livestock.

Penobscot County 4-H’ers are invited to participate in the following fairs:
