Pollen Palooza

Flyer for “Pollen Palooza,” a free pollinator-themed event on May 30, 2026, 10am–1pm (rain date May 31) at Rogers Farm in Old Town. Features bee and butterfly graphics and highlights hands-on activities, insect displays, art, food samples, and community partners including UMaine Extension, Maine Audubon, Hirundo, and others.A fun-filled celebration of pollinators!

FREE and open to the public!

Explore the fascinating world of bees, butterflies, and other pollinators at this lively, hands-on event for all ages. Enjoy interactive activities with Maine Audubon and Hirundo, plus live and pinned insect displays, an observation hive, a bee petting zoo, face painting, and more.

Create with visiting artist Kim Bernard in a collaborative recycled art project and celebrate the debut of our new outdoor pizza oven. Friends from The Good Crust will offer free samples of delicious farm flatbreads and Black Bear Beekeepers will share sweet local honey samples.
