UMaine Central Financial Management and Camp Leases
The leases for Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove are being developed in collaboration with upper administration and UMS Legal Counsel as part of the transition to UMaine central financial management.
4-H Donor Relations
There is a new “I Support 4H …” sticker that is available for those who donate to 4H.
Budget Cut Reduction for This Year
President Ferguson took steps to reduce the budget cut proposed for each unit through the use of one-time funds. Cooperative Extension and other campus units are very pleased to take a smaller cut this year and know that the campus will need to work toward a sustainable ongoing budget next year and into the future.
May Faculty Meeting
The faculty is planning a May 2 meeting and have asked John Rebar to provide an organizational update that will cover the challenges and opportunities for faculty given our prioritization of our programming in support of the Maine Food System. The ELT discussed John’s organizational update and generated topics to cover.
