ELT Equal Opportunity Refresher Training
Dr. Jackie Hymes joined the ELT to provide refresher training and covered federal laws and University policies that apply to staff, volunteers and students. All Extension staff will receive refresher training in the near future.

Non-represented Professional Career Ladder
The ELT revisited the criteria that will be applied to non-represented professionals who seek promotion. This criteria and the promotion process must be reviewed and approved by Human Resources and the Provost before it can be announced.

Feedback to an Organizational Update
The ELT provided John with ideas about items that could be shared in an organizational update if one was to occur before the organizational meeting in October. John is waiting for decisions by upper administration about new positions that we may be able to hire. If there is news to share there will be an organizational update before the October meeting of all staff.

Food Corp Funding Request
Vina Lindley joined the ELT by phone to ask for funding for Food Corp. She presented a detailed budget that had an approximate $5,000 deficit and ELT did give $5,000 last year. The ELT agreed to budget the $5,000 as long as we can secure that amount in the current budget. Dennis will work with Vina.
