Extension Leadership Team Minutes
102B Libby Hall – Orono

Facilitator: John Rebar
Note taker: Jon Prichard

Extension events calendar
Our recently updated web-based calendar is an important place for the public to view upcoming events, and also is a valuable place for Extension staff to see the full range of activities happening statewide.  If you haven’t visited the calendar recently take a look.  Staff are encouraged to post events. https://calendar.umaine.edu/events/category/cooperative-extension/

Client experience workshops
Staff are encouraged to attend one of two upcoming customer service workshops titled The Ultimate Client Experience. As Extension staff we know that excellent customer service is crucial to developing and maintaining positive relationships with our clients and coworkers, promoting a positive image of Extension and solidifying our credibility within the communities and with the people we serve. These things are essential to our organizational sustainability. Fran Sulinski has designed two workshops, one in Orono (April 11) and one in Lisbon Falls (April 13).  More information is available in a recent allstaff email from Fran.

ES237 Report
Lisa gave the ELT a useful overview of the annual ES237 Report to National 4-H (NIFA).  She agreed to write up a summary paragraph that could be used to concisely share the value of Maine 4-H as reflected in this report.
