Cooperative Extension Support Staff Award of Excellence

Eligibility Criteria
- Current Extension Support Staffer with at least 3 years of UMaine Extension service
- Must be nominated by an Extension employee or a County Executive Association member
Award Details
The winner of this award will receive:
- $500 monetary award
- $500 in Flexible Staff Development Funds (to be used by September 30th, 2026)

History and Past Winners
The UMaine Extension Support Staff Award of Excellence dates back to at least 1998, although a winner has not been recognized every year. The award was revived in 2025 through the efforts of the Dirigo Support Staff Committee.
