4-H Camp and Learning Center Updates: Ryder will be coming to the ELT meeting on January 23^rd to provide the ELT with camp and budget updates.

Annual Report of Accomplishments: There is no joint report with Experiment Station for 2014. Fran and Jon are providing leadership for compiling and submitting our annual USDA report.

4-H Foundation Updates: Maine 4-H Foundation participated in the National Giving Tuesday program. Lisa will invite Susan to a future ELT meeting after the first of the year to provide a more in depth 4-H Foundation update.

Review PA Job Description: The ELT reviewed the job description and John will now work with Fran and HR to move the search process forward.

Overhead Policy: We reviewed the Extension Overhead policy and approved it. The new policy will go into effect January 1, 2015. The full policy and supporting documents will be sent out by Dennis and placed on plugged-in.

Announcements:

Congratulations to Deb Bouchard, who has been awarded $32,698 from the Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences for the project titled “Streaming Biosecurity Management in the Context of Regional Molluscan Shellfish Transfers.”

Congratulations to Gary Anderson, who has been awarded $10,000 from the USDA for the project Producer Education 2014 Farm Bill.

Congratulations to Lisa Phelps, who has been awarded $65,044 from the Maine Mathematics & Science Alliance, to continue her work for the Building a Coherent STEM Infrastructure in Rural Communities project.

The ELT invites you to submit items to be included in the minutes/announcements of the next regularly scheduled ELT meeting.  This is an opportunity to share with the ELT and the rest of the organization any of the following:

• Notable programmatic accomplishments
• Development or fundraising success
• Significant new partnerships and/or opportunities
• Important transitions

Please take the opportunity to share your good works through this avenue.  Keep it brief… approximately two to four sentences would be appreciated. To submit an announcement, please contact your PA or appropriate member of the ELT.
