Plan of Work in Process

The reporting stage in the Plan of Work process is winding down. PAs are finishing their approval of success stories. Jon Prichard is taking the lead to review and do a first edit before some stories go to our independent consultant for a last edit. Thank you to those who were timely and provided good quality reporting!

4-H National Marketing Campaign

A 4-H national marketing campaign funding request was made of each state at the cost of $11,000 a year. This campaign is meant to support development work at the national level. John will be participating in a conference call to explore this further.

P-Card versus T-Card Learning Curve

The ELT discussed ongoing confusion that still exists when staff are trying to decide when they can use their P or T cards. The following excerpt from UMaine Procurement is helpful in that regard (see UMS’s Procurement Card for more information):

Modifying Plans of Work

Some programmers feel they are unable to report all of their work in to MPRS. If encouraged to modify their current plans, we will have many items with small numbers of outputs. Ideally modifications would be done to accommodate groups of staff.

Draft Organizational Meeting Agenda

Fran shared a draft outline of the organizational meeting to take place October 26 & 27, 2016 to obtain ELT input.

Announcement Invitation:

The ELT invites you to submit items to be included in the minutes/announcements of the next regularly scheduled ELT meeting.  This is an opportunity to share with the ELT and the rest of the organization any of the following:

• Notable programmatic accomplishments
• Development or fundraising success
• Significant new partnerships and/or opportunities
• Important transitions

Please take the opportunity to share your good works through this avenue.  Keep it brief… approximately two to four sentences would be appreciated. To submit an announcement, please contact your PA or appropriate member of the ELT.
