Recertification Credits - Maine Board of Pesticides Control

The Potato Program team at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension provides information on potato and rotation crop production. This page is for obtaining Maine Board of Pesticides Control recertification credits.

It is possible to receive Maine Board of Pesticides Control recertification credits for these presentations. As each presentation is approximately a half hour, two different presentations would have to be viewed for each credit. Additionally, a test must be passed with a minimum of 80 percent correct answers on each presentation. While there is no charge for viewing this information, there is charge ($7.50) for taking each test (15 questions), whether the tests are passed or not.

View a presentation and when you are ready to take the test (15 questions), click on the link below associated with the presentation. You will be directed to a University of Maine Publications Catalog site where you can pay for the test. Once you have paid for the test, your information is recorded by the Extension publication’s office. The publication office will email you a link to take the on-line test. Note: tests will be processed and emails sent during regular business hours. After you have completed the test, email Steve Johnson who will grade the test and  forward the results to the Maine Board of Pesticides control as well as to you. Most tests are graded withing 2-3 days.  Should the October 31 or the December 31 expiration date for licenses occur between paying for and taking the test, The Maine Board of Pesticides Control will still accept the credit.

You need to take and pass two tests for each MBPC credit.
