Washington County Extension 4-H seeks youth for public speaking tournament
MACHIAS, Maine—University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H is seeking youth between the ages of 5 and 18 to participate in the Washington County 4-H public speaking tournament on March 9, beginning at 10 a.m., at the University of Maine Machias, Science Building, room 102. Youth ages 9-18 who participate in the tournament, and receive the required score, will be invited to the state tournament in Orono on April 6.
An informational session about the tournament will be held Feb. 9, 10 a.m.– noon at the UMaine Extension office, 28 Center Street, Machias.
