Food, Fun and Reading Program
Join the UMaine Cooperative Extension’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in this weekly, food-themed, virtual read-aloud group. This program is available for youth ages 4 to 9 who reside in Washington County, Maine.
Starting Tuesday, March 9, 2021, and continuing weekly through April 13, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. join us over Zoom to learn about MyPlate and the five food groups. Each session will feature an interactive activity and a different Washington County library during the read-aloud portion.
Adult participation required with children.
Learn alongside your child by receiving related videos and worksheets via email after every class.
Upon registration, you will be sent instructions and information for accessing Zoom.
If you are a person with a disability and need an accommodation to participate in this program, please contact Rita Stephenson at email@example.com or 207.255.3345 or 1.800.287.1542 (in Maine) to discuss your needs. Receiving requests for accommodations at least 10 days before the program provides a reasonable amount of time to meet the request, however, all requests will be considered.
