Pre-registration is required for all 4-H Virtual Learning workshops. Space is limited.

Some workshops may require materials and adult assistance. Register on the informational page (link provided with each description below) for programs, for each workshop of interest. Participants will receive an email confirmation once their registration is submitted.

4-H Aquarium Club

  • Cost: Free
  • Ages: 5-18
  • Dates/Time: The club meets the first week of each month on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m.
  • Registration is open on a rolling basis. When you register you will be added to the mailing list to receive the Zoom link before the next meeting.

4-H Climate Civic Action SPIN Club

This is a 3-part series for youth ages 12-18 that will dive into real-world issues and what we can actually do about them. Join Christopher and Sarah as we take a look at the impacts of climate change. Christopher is a second-year graduate student at the School of Policy and International Affairs (Global Policy) with a focus in Climate change and Environmental policy). 

Together we will learn about climate change from a global and a local perspective and explore opportunities for individual action to make a difference. This will involve hands-on, minds-on learning to unpack this big topic. This series will be held via Zoom

  • Ages: 12 – 18
  • Dates/Time: Mondays, October 28th, November 4th & November 11th, 4:30-5:30 pm

Super Sitters 4-H SPIN Club

Are you interested in babysitting? Have younger siblings at home? Help out at youth programs? This is the perfect 4-H series for you!

The Super Sitter babysitting course is designed to prepare youth ages 12-16 for babysitting responsibilities. During this SPecial INterest club, youth will learn basic safety measures and how to respond to emergency situations when caring for young children. Participants will discover what is appropriate at various stages of child development through hands-on activities, scenarios, and more!

  • Cost: Free
  • Ages: 12 – 16
  • Dates/Time: Tuesday, October 15, 22, 29, and November 5 and 12 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm via Zoom. In-person sessions will be held on November 19th in Aroostook and Washington counties.
