This is a free, “hands-on” workshop for Maine Aquaculture Producers who are interested in establishing a record keeping system using QuickBooks Pro™ Desktop. This workshop is for those with no-to-minimal experience using QuickBooks. Participants should bring their own laptop (PC or Mac), but it is not required. Producers who bring their own laptop will download the software onto their computer at the beginning of the workshop.
Participants will receive the QuickBooks software (a $200 value) free! If you already own the software, you can still attend, but we will provide the software to someone else. If you use a desktop computer, you may still receive the software, but will be asked to follow along with a buddy for the training.

Presenters:
QuickBooks ProAdvisors from Austin Associates will demonstrate how to set up and use accounts, perform invoicing, deposits, and reporting using QuickBooks Pro™.
Chilloa A. Young from The Tax Bracket li, Inc. will present about taxes for aquaculture farms.
Erin Roche from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will present about risk management programs for aquaculture farms.
