Introduction to QuickBooks Pro™ and More: A Free Workshop for Maine Vegetable and Small Fruit Growers Association Members

This is a free, “hands-on” workshop for members of the Maine Vegetable and Small Fruit Growers Association who are interested in establishing a record keeping system using QuickBooks Pro™ Desktop. This workshop is for those with no-to-minimal experience using QuickBooks. Participants should bring their own laptop (PC or Mac), but it is not required. Producers who bring their own laptop will download the software onto their computer at the beginning of the workshop.

Participants will receive the QuickBooks software (a $200 value) free! If you already own the software, you can still attend, but we will provide the software to someone else. If you use a desktop computer, you may still receive the software, but will be asked to follow along with a buddy for the training.

Presenters

QuickBooks ProAdvisors from Austin Associates will demonstrate how to set up and use accounts, perform invoicing, deposits, and reporting using QuickBooks Pro™.
Phil Doucette from Austin Associates will speak about taxes for diversified farms.
Erin Roche from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will present about risk management programs for diversified farms.
