Annual Dates to Know

March 1 (tentative date): Eastern States Intent to Participate, deadlines begin

March 1: National 4-H Trip Application, deadlines begin

March 1: Maine 4-H Foundation Scholarship Applications due

April 1: Enrollments due for new 4-H Members

April 1: Animal Approval Forms (PDF) deadline for ESE Horse

April: Spring Paper Clover at Tractor Supply Company

June 30: Final Deadline for Animal Approval Forms (PDF)

July: Maine 4-H Days

July: Pittston Fair

July-August: Monmouth Fair

July-August: Summer Learning Series

August: Topsham Fair

August: Union Fair (4-H Youth from any Maine county can participate in the livestock shows, as long as there is space available. Knox, Lincoln and Waldo County 4-H Youth only can have entries in the Exhibition Hall)

August-September: Windsor Fair

September: Litchfield Fair

September: Oxford County Fair (4-H Youth in Poland, Minot, Mechanic Falls, Turner, and Livermore can participate)

September: Farmington Fair (4-H Youth outside of Franklin County can get permission to participate)

September 30: End of 4-H year, turn in Project Records to club leaders

October: Fall Paper Clover at Tractor Supply Company

October 31: Club 4-H End of Year Form (PDF) due

November: End of Year Celebration

December 1: 4-H Plan of Work Form (PDF) due
