Join Cooperative Extension and Cultivating Community in an interactive workshop focused on growing seedlings at home. Seed starting is essential to get a jump start on Maine’s short growing season, and gives gardeners the freedom to experiment with unique and exciting seed varieties. This session will focus on equipment needed to start seeds indoors, best practices for seedling care, and techniques for transplanting seedlings.
Participants will leave this workshop with a small tray of their own seedlings!
Cost is on a sliding scale: $10-$20; Space is limited and Registration is required.
