The Annual Cumberland County Master Gardener Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, May 28 from 8:00am to noon at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm, located at Presumpscot Point Rd in Falmouth. In addition to organic vegetable and herb seedlings and annuals and perennials, there will be an exemplary selection of Maine native plants and pollinator plants. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 Ever wonder how to make your own homemade jams and jellies? University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s hands-on food preservation workshop will teach you the basics of making local fruit jam and jelly, including how to use a boiling water bath canner to preserve jam.
