Join us at Tidewater Farm on the second Saturday of the month from June to October, rain or shine, for our family-friendly field days!
Saturday, October 14, 10:00 AM to Noon: Putting the Gardens to Bed | Supporting Soil Health
Peas and oats growing in garden bed as cover cropParticipate in a hands-on demonstration of how to put your gardens to bed, including practices that will support wildlife during the winter months. Then, learn how to conduct a soil test, amend your soil based on the soil test results, and protect your soil going into the winter months.
Our friends at the Falmouth Memorial Library will be on hand to share resources about their youth and adult programs. Don’t miss their special story time featuring a fall-themed children’s book!
