Preserving the Maine Harvest: Pressure Canning
September 14, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm
| Free – $5Event Navigation
A pressure canner is used to safely preserve your homegrown or farm-fresh vegetables. Many first-time canners are intimidated by these appliances, so join UMaine Extension staff for demystifying the pressure canner. We’ll discuss pressure canning as a method for preserving foods and highlight the steps for pressure canning with a live demonstration. Registration is required; a $5 donation is optional but appreciated.
