Interested in preserving all those great garden vegetables but short on time or energy?
This 1-1/2 hour hands-on workshop at Scarborough High School from UMaine Extension food preservation experts will teach you several quick and easy preserving methods for the late summer bounty. We will discuss ways to freeze, dehydrate, pickle, and save your harvest, even when you’re short on time. Take home a food preservation packet of fact sheets and recipes and a few samples of preserved foods.
