If you’re tapping trees for the first time or have been tapping in the backyard for years, these resources will help you get set up to make syrup in the backyard. These resources include recommended supplies and materials for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, syrup quality, and food safety. These also include all of the information that you’ll need to understand tree tapping, sap boiling, and syrup canning.
