The demonstration garden at Rogers Farm is a working showcase for creative theme gardens, unique and native plant varieties, and prolific vegetable production plots that are dedicated to providing fresh produce to neighbors in need. Volunteer opportunities abound, from hands-on, in the dirt gardening, to marketing and communications, educational programming, produce delivery and so much more. This is very much a service-learning opportunity where volunteers are guaranteed to gain horticultural skills and knowledge. Training and support provided for each type of opportunity. Official work sessions are on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings during the growing season, but volunteering can take place at anytime with prior training and communications. Non-Master Gardener volunteers are welcome. Annual safety training is the only requirement for anyone interested in getting involved. Project Coordinator: Kate Garland
