Dr. Larry Tranel, an Iowa State University Extension and Outreach dairy specialist and a nationally recognized leader in the economics of efficient milking systems will be at Bò Lait Farm, 414 W. Washington Rd, Washington Maine at 10:30AM on August 24, 2021 and at Sweetland Farm, 29 Bessey Ridge Rd. Albion, Maine at 1:00PM on the same day.
Tranel is well-known in the dairy industry for his low-cost TRANS Iowa swing parlor renovation plans for tie-stall barns. He has also researched robotic milking systems.
