Seeds available to youth who register for ‘Come Grow with 4-H’ at the Washington County Fair
University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H invites all Washington County youth ages 5–18 to contribute what their favorite garden grows to the 4-H exhibit at the Washington County Fair Aug. 26–27 at the Pembroke Fairgrounds, 222 Old County Road, Pembroke. Seeds are available now to youth who register for the event.
“Come Grow with 4-H” garden exhibit categories include vegetables, flowers, herbs and indoor gardening. Youth can enter up to three exhibits. Premiums and ribbons will be awarded.
