Stepping Outdoors: An educator workshop to integrate nature-based learning with classroom instruction

Join Cathy Lookabaugh, from Downeast Coastal Conservancy and Brittany Foster, from UMaine Cooperative Extension 4-H Program for a morning of exploring the benefits of outdoor learning and nature-based education.
Training will include:
- Simple outdoor classroom set ups
- Hands-on activities (environmental/science topics with cross curricular application)
- Time to plan and discuss an outdoor lesson for immediate implementation
