The growing season is short in New England, but techniques ranging from simple to ambitious can help extend it by weeks, months or even year-round.
That could mean being able to grow crops you haven’t been able to before, or simply getting to grow and harvest during months previously out of reach. Season extension techniques often make for healthier and more productive plants, too! This webinar will share the possibilities of season extension, different strategies ranging from strategic use of mulches and row covers to small high tunnels, and in-depth guidance on how to build and implement these systems in your gardens.
