University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H is offering “virtual” science cafés! Come hang out for a bit, chat with a UMaine scientist, and learn about their work. It’s free!
Join us each Tuesday where you will meet scientists, learn about how they ended up at UMaine and how they became involved in their work/research, and participate in informal discussions. So, sign up and learn some cool science!
If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact Jessy Brainerd, Administrative Specialist, University of Maine Cooperative Extension State 4-H Office, at jessica.brainerd@maine.edu at least a week in advance of the session. If requests are received after this date, we may not have sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements.
Maine 4-H Virtual Teen Science Cafés are recommended for teens in grades 7-12.
Date(s): Tuesdays from 4:00 – 4:45 pm
Location: Science Cafés will take place in Zoom (Video-Conferencing) Webinars
- Wondering How to Access Zoom? Download the Zoom App (free to sign up!) on your desktop or mobile device and then visit the Joining a Meeting page on the Zoom Help Center website.
