Jeremy Strater Scholarship

The Jeremy Strater Scholarship was established in 2018 at the Maine 4-H Foundation in partnership with the Washington County Extension Association.

Jeremy Strater was a long-time supporter of Cooperative Extension. In his honor, and in appreciation for his support, the Washington County Executive Committee chose to create a scholarship in his name.  The scholarship is designed to support Washington County 4-H member scholarships for post-secondary study. Preference will be given to graduating high school seniors from Washington County 4-H, and students are eligible for the scholarship once during their college career. Distributions managed by the Maine 4-H Foundation in partnership with the Washington County Executive Board, shall provide approximately $1,000 annually in whole or part for higher education scholarships.
