Maine AgrAbility Offers Services to Farmer with Disabilities in Rumford

Ellen Gibson, farm education specialist for Maine AgrAbility, and her friend and client Annette Marin, owner of No View Farm, Inn, and Bakery, located along the Androscoggin River in Rumford, Maine, are both owners of small farms. When Marin experienced severe mobility issues that prevented her form doing many farm-related chores, Gibson advised her to apply for free services offered by Maine AgrAbility, a program dedicated to helping farmers, forest workers, and fishermen “work safely and more productively.” Read the entire article in Lancaster Farming.
