Reid Johnson
Reid Johnson has over 12 years of experience in education and camp counseling in Minnesota and Alaska. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in English and Chemistry. Reid has worked as a substitute teacher and as a social worker supporting at-risk youth in Sitka, Alaska. His goal is to create a camp environment that helps kids from all backgrounds and experience levels safely find their place in the outdoors.
Reid has extensive experience in small business management and natural history. In 2022, he founded an ecotourism company that leads hikes and educational excursions in the Tongass National Forest. Before joining the Bryant Pond team, Reid was a longtime 4-H volunteer, leading clubs that reflect his diverse interests, including ceramics, juggling, and beekeeping.
