Preserving and Using Plants and Flowers

Join us in the historic Skolfield-Whittier Garden for this family friendly workshop exploring hands-on history. Delaney Bucker and Jennifer Goldstein, volunteers with the University of Maine’s Cooperative Extension program, will share how to dry, press, store, and use native plants in recipes and for decoration. You’ll practice preserving herbs and flowers and take some home.

  • Cost: Free, but limited to 15 participants
